I’m Avani, a Licensed Master Social Worker, Certified Trauma Professional, and Certified Inclusive Eating Disorder Specialist. I work with teens (15+) and adults who are navigating things like trauma, anxiety, OCD, eating and body related concerns, and general life stress/life transitions.
A supportive space to understand your patterns, explore what’s been weighing on you, and learn new ways to cope and heal. In individual therapy, we move at your pace — whether you’re navigating complex or family-of-origin trauma, feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, struggling with food or body distress, or adjusting to major life changes. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen your internal resources, and help you create a life that feels safer, steadier, and more aligned with who you want to be.
Relationships are often where old wounds and patterns show up most clearly — and also where some of the most meaningful healing can happen. In couples and family therapy, I help partners and loved ones communicate more openly, understand each other’s emotional experiences, and reduce conflict that feels overwhelming or repetitive. Whether you’re navigating miscommunication, cultural or generational differences, trauma responses within the relationship, or major life transitions, therapy can help you reconnect, repair, and build healthier patterns together.
Healing is powerful in community, especially when you realize you’re not the only one struggling with certain thoughts, experiences, or patterns. Group therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to share, learn, and practice new skills alongside others who get it. Groups may focus on topics like trauma recovery, managing intrusive thoughts, building body trust, or developing healthier coping strategies. It’s a guided, collaborative environment where you can gain insight, feel less alone, and strengthen the tools you use in daily life.
